A race day sample was taken from Jimmy Intention at the trainer’s kennel earlier today.
A pre–race sample was taken from Big Bertha.
Long Black Lass was quick to begin. Big Bertha was slow to begin.
Mechanical was checked turning off the back straight first time around and failed to make ground over the remainder of the event. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a monkey muscle injury to the left-fore and right-fore, as well as a right-hind triangle injury and right-hind groin injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
