Steward's Report
My Father's Son and Cawbourne Roses were slow to begin.
My Father's Son marred Radek Bale in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right-fore monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Michael Chilcott regarding My Father's Son’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, My Father's Son was charged with marring. Mr. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge and My Father's Son was suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Radek Bale tired and lost ground over the concluding stages, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left-fore monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Torpedo Tears.
