Steward's Report
Forbes Delight, Lala Reindeer and Miss You Emma were slow to begin.
Twilight Sofia underwent a post–race veterinary examination for a racing incident on the home turn and was found to have a calf injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr S. Van Taarling regarding Twilight Sofia racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Twilight Sofia was charged with marring. S. Van Taarling pled guilty to the charge, Twilight Sofia was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at the Meadows only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Miss You Emma commenced to give ground from through the first turn and tailed off as a result. Miss You Emma underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
