A sample was taken from Penshurst Lass upon arrival at the course.
A pre–race sample was taken from Inga Leah.
Inga Lenny, One Happy Hippo and Inga Leah were quick to begin. Japika Rose was slow to begin.
Inga Lenny - checked entering home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstring injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mrs M Inguanti regarding the racing manners of Inga Lenny entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mrs M Inguanti, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.].
