Cruising Cloe – Late scratching on Sunday, 19 June 2022 at 8:03 pm when trainer, Ms Chloe Dew reported the greyhound to be ill (GAR76). A 10 day standown period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Menari Stenosis and Liverpool Street were quick to begin. Nine Inch Nail was slow to begin.
Nine Inch Nail lost ground in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right foreleg wrist injuries. A five day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Thai Time - the winner of the event.
