Pursuant to GAR 75(7) Steward, D. Barber did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Sinful Sid.
Flamboyant Lad was quick to begin. Blackpool Astro was slow to begin.
Atlas Alibi marred Flamboyant Lad approaching the 100m mark. Atlas Alibi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the sacro-iliac and right quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Barry McNamara regarding Atlas Alibi’s racing manners approaching the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Atlas Alibi was charged with marring. Mr McNamara pled not guilty to the charge, Atlas Alibi was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
