An out of competition sample was taken from Queen Of Shiraz on 5/7/22 pursuant to GAR 139.
Select Magic was quick to begin.
Omega Hondo went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Select Magic underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a tail injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Aeroplane Jayne underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have stopper injury to the right foreleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Sheryl Thomas regarding the unnecessary delay in boxing Matchbox Lady in this event. Ms Thomas was reminded of responsibilities pursuant to GAR 105 (9).
