Steward's Report
Thranduil and Bear Lee Time were slow to begin.
Thranduil – Stewards have observed the behaviour of the greyhound over several starts and are satisfied that the greyhound is no longer required to wear an anti–aggression muzzle. Stewards will continue to monitor the greyhound's behaviour in future events.
Cheap Charlie - marred My Sooty approaching the 100m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have injries to the right monkey muscle and right hip. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Gregory Berry regarding Cheap Charlie’s racing manners approaching the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Cheap Charlie was charged with marring. Mr Berry pled guilty to the charge, Cheap Charlie was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
