Neon Flare was slow to begin.
Neon Flare, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Ms Kate Gorman, the representative of Neon Flare regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 150m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Neon Flare was charged with marring. Ms Gorman pleaded guilty to the charge, Neon Flare was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
