Steward's Report
Mac Rooster and Superr Specter were slow to begin.
Mac Rooster faltered at the 200m mark and tailed off, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right long head triceps, right sartorius and right tensor facia. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
My Sooty underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Ms K Gieschen, regarding the racing manners of My Sooty approaching the 50m mark. After hearing submissions from Ms. Gieschen, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the 50m mark.
