Steward's Report
Charizard was slow to begin.
Crystal Edition turned its head inwards approaching the winning post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and a right hindleg stifle injury was reported. A 7 day stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Williamson, trainer, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Crystal Edition was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. D. Williamson pleaded guilty to the charge, Crystal Edition was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
