Steward's Report
Trainer, Kevin Quinn was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Ollie pursuant to GAR 88.
Ollie was quick to begin. Joffa's Tiara was slow to begin.
Ollie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor spike wounds to the right hind leg and left hind toes, a three day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. E. Frost regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Frost, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
My Golden Eagle fell passing the finishing post, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind tarsal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
