Steward's Report
Mt. View Blonde, Mt. View Gem and Lilly's Stripey were slow to begin.
Mt. View Gem marred Mt. View Blonde in the home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Trevor Whitford, the trainer of Mt View Gem regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Mt. View Gem was charged with marring. Mr. Whitford pleaded guilty to the charge, Mt. View Gem was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Traralgon and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
