Stupify was quick to begin.
Soda Bingo underwent a post-race veterinary examination after the greyhound lost ground from the first turn and was found to have a spike wound to the left hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Christopher Langley the representative of Soda Bingo regarding its performance from the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Soda Bingo must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
