Notice To Burn was severely checked on the first turn and fell as a result, underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and abrasions to the left thigh, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

College Girl underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr P.Ellis regarding College Girl’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 College Girl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Ellis pleaded guilty to the charge, College Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Radiant Betty and Dimes Ambition were slow to begin.

Ziems Park Girl faltered approaching the first turn and was tailed off, underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr R.Henness regarding Miss Daisy Hill’s racing manners in the home straight. Mr Henness declined the option to have the greyhound vetted.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Miss Daisy Hill was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Henness pled guilty to the charge, Miss Daisy Hill was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial/s in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bugs – The frequency of racing was discussed with Mr Jason Formosa, trainer, the comments were noted.

Coach Fagan lost ground approaching the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs Jane Hooke regarding the racing manners of Coach Fagan approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mrs Hooke, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
