Our Boy underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Especial Blonde underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was re–examined following race 8. Especial Blonde was found to have injuries to the right shoulder and right deltoid muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Hagibis was quick to begin. Hijack Heist was slow to begin.

Hijack Heist underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness; a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Geoffrey Williamson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Hijack Heist was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Williamson pleaded guilty to the charge, Hijack Heist was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Our Rascal fell on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Rev Up Freddy – Late scratching at 10:26am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to an infection. A three (3) day stand down period was imposed.

Nangar Troy – Late scratching at 10:39am due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Gregory Schofield informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Gregory Schofield that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Supplementary Report: The 28 day stand-down on Nangar Troy was expired on 14 May 2022 after evidence to the satisfaction of the Stewards was received to confirm the matter.

A post-race sample was taken from Bear Lee Bond - the winner of the event.

Pursuant to GAR 75(6) parade steward, Mr. Ricky Glass, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

All Inn Pearl Very slow to begin (3L)

All Inn Pearl falted soon after the start and pulled up, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left achillies tendon. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Avery Charm and Shaggy Rufus were slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Mariachi - the winner of the event.

Tuscan Style and Radiant Betty were slow to begin.

A post-race sample was taken from Hasten Jet - the winner of the event.
