Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Ferguson, the trainer of Undercover Girl regarding the greyhound's improved performance. Mr. Ferguson stated that the greyhound had suffered a serious injury 6 months ago and that it had taken him some time to get the greyhound fully fit again. Mr. Ferguson also stated that the greyhound had suffered severe interference in its past couple of races and that tonight it had received an interference free run. Stewards accepted Mr. Ferguson's submissions and therefore took samples from the greyhound.
