Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Turtle Express.
Blowfly Jo and Queen Xena were quick to begin. Burnsy's Bindi was slow to begin. Brindle Stagger, Turtle Express and Fixed Term collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Turtle Express and Fixed Term. Tallow Wood and Lozzy Gee collided on the first turn checking Tallow Wood. Fixed Term and Burnsy's Bindi collided approaching the home turn checking Fixed Term. Brindle Stagger checked off Queen Xena approaching the home turn. Turtle Express raced wide on the home turn. Tallow Wood faltered on the home turn and tailed off. Burnsy's Bindi raced wide entering the home straight. Brindle Stagger, Blowfly Jo, Queen Xena and Lozzy Gee collided approaching the winning post.
Tallow Wood was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
