Steward's Report
Tower Bell - Pre-race sample was taken.
Alpine Butterfly - Slow to begin. Marred Dr. Lysandra in the home straight. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Des Douch regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Alpine Butterfly was charged with marring. Mr Douch pleaded guilty to the charge, Alpine Butterfly was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
