All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Calypso Princess was quick to begin. Lights Strike and Claretown Ryan were slow to begin.

Inky's Fireball and What Gambo collided soon after the start checking What Gambo. Calypso Princess and Reality Infrared collided on the first turn checking Reality Infrared. What Gambo and Claretown Ryan collided entering the home straight.

What Gambo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing of the left hind paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Mr. Blue Sky - the winner of the event.

Seebohm Bale – Late scratching at 7.21pm on 13.3.22 when Mrs Rebecca Gibbons reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Brave Lad and Smoking Sophie collided soon after the start. Dinkydi Junior and Drop The Hammer collided soon after the start. Brave Lad and Drop The Hammer collided soon after the start. Brave Lad, Smoking Sophie and Dinkydi Junior collided approaching the first turn. Faint Perfume checked off Drop The Hammer on the first turn. Brave Lad checked off Dinkydi Junior on the first turn. Brave Lad clipped the heels of Faint Perfume and stumbled as a result entering the home straight.

Brave Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triangle muscle, left pencil muscle and shin soreness on the left hind leg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Al's Shout was quick to begin. Reiko Shock was slow to begin.

Belle Yaraki and Cruickshank collided soon after the start. Cruickshank and Zipping Tula collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn causing Cruickshank to fall, checking Brizo and Zipping Tula.

Cruickshank underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured right radius/ulna. Cruickshank was humanely euthanised.

Zipping Dudley stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin - 4 lengths.

Pure Mania and Aston Laurent collided approaching the first turn causing Pure Mania to fall. Baffling checked off Aston Laurent on the first turn.

Pure Mania underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.

Reiko Bingle and Dewana Fair Go collided approaching the first turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Loch - the winner of the event.

Joffa's Liberty was slow to begin.

Zipping Slade and Don't Argue Love collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Pretty Fly shifted out on the first turn checking Mepunga Royal. Zipping Slade and Don't Argue Love collided approaching the home turn. Joffa's Liberty and Rocky Strike collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Mepunga Royal underwent a post race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a suspected right carpal wrist fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Kanji Length and Cindy Fuso were quick to begin.

Where's Lesley and Phoenix Flight collided soon after the start. In Lights galloped on Aston Kenno approaching the first turn. In Lights and Where's Lesley raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Flying Jelly and Tiggerlong Rebel were quick to begin.

My Golden Eagle and Crumb Snags collided on the first turn. Major Bandit and Our Girl Bailee collided approaching the second turn. Litigator and Our Girl Bailee collided on the second turn checking Litigator. Runnin' Riot raced wide in the home straight.

Litigator underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left groin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Balt's Flying and Wild Harmony were quick to begin. Zipping Iris and Pablo's Star were slow to begin.

Annie My Mate and Go Wheels collided soon after the start checking Go Wheels. Go Wheels and Pablo's Star collided approaching the first turn. Balt's Flying lost ground approaching the first turn.

Balt's Flying underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left groin muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Matthew Marshall regarding its performance approaching the first turn.  Mr Marshall explained that he believes that the greyhound lost ground due to the injury and feels it may have further contributing injuries. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr Marshall to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Balt's Flying in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Kanji Kilo.

Aunt Finnie was quick to begin.

Kanji Kilo and Aunt Finnie collided approaching the first turn. Barefoot Barry clipped the heels of Kanji Kilo and fell on the first turn checking Miss Rose Water and Infinite Will. Aunt Finnie contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, losing ground as a result.

Barefoot Barry underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind achilles and split webbing on the right hind paw. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Aunt Finnie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to an injury to the right back muscle and a left pencil muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Coconino.

Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.

Bad Bailey and Aston Shadow collided approaching the first turn checking Bad Bailey and Darley Dynamo. Aston Dynasty checked off Beach Master on the home turn. Aston Shadow and Kaiden collided entering the home straight. Riverdale Bear and Aston Dynasty collided approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kandinsky.

Bissaka Spider and Once A King were quick to begin. Riverdale Tommy was slow to begin.

Kandinsky, Dolly Jay and Irongate collided approaching the first turn. Seabrook Baker and Dolly Jay raced wide on the home turn. Once A King and Riverdale Tommy collided in the home straight.

Shaka Big Tonks – Cramp - Field of 5, Distance 390m, Weight 32.7 kg, Box 8, Placed 1st, Time Run 21.959 - Comment: Cleared all tracks.
