The start of this race was delayed by 2 minutes due to Sky Channel commitments at Globe Derby.
Oxley Major was quick to begin. Lady Toy was slow to begin. Sir Gazza and Fantasizzing collided soon after the start checking Sir Gazza. Untraceable and Mimicking collided soon after the start checking Mimicking. Oxley Major and Untraceable collided approaching the second turn. Perfect Tess and Zipping Makka collided entering the front straight. Fantasizzing and Perfect Tess collided approaching the third turn. Fantasizzing and Untraceable collided in the back straight checking Untraceable. Fantasizzing, Lady Toy and Zipping Makka collided approaching the home turn checking Fantasizzing, Oxley Major and Zipping Makka.
