Mister Mayhem, Twentyfour Steps, Mr. Optimistic and No Points were slow to begin. Black Gypsy and Mister Mayhem collided soon after the start. Twentyfour Steps checked off Mr. Optimistic approaching the 300m mark. Bruree Miss and Black Gypsy collided approaching the 300m mark. Twentyfour Steps and No Points collided approaching the 250m mark. Uno Nando and Loyal Miss collided at the 250m mark. Bruree Miss crossed to the outside at the 250m mark, checking Twentyfour Steps and severely checking Mr. Optimistic. Uno Nando and Loyal Miss collided approaching the 100m mark. Loyal Miss checked off Uno Nando at the 100m mark. Black Gypsy and Loyal Miss collided approching the 50m mark and again approaching the winning post, checking Loyal Miss.
