Steward's Report
Arvo's Nico was a late scratching at 6.42pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Greek Style crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Roxy's Storm. White Stinger, Quantum Bale and Spicey Charmola collided soon after the start. Quantum Bale and Spicey Charmola collided approaching the first turn. White Stinger galloped on Just Wins approaching the first turn checking White Stinger and Thursday Sip. Roxy's Storm lost ground approaching the home turn and in the home straight and tailed off.
Roxy's Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left chest muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Harris declined his option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Luke Harris the trainer of the greyhound Roxy's Storm. Stewards deemed the performance of Roxy's Storm unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Roxy's Storm must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.
