Tyson's Typhoon, Concrete Comedy and Identity Crisis were quick to begin.

Identity Crisis underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race four.  Identity Crisis was found to have left foreleg wrist and monkey muscle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Ms Colleen Downie, the trainer of Identity Crisis regarding its performance approaching and on the home turn.  After hearing evidence from Ms Downie, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71 Identity Crisis must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

No Onion Thanks was quick to begin.  Headingley was slow to begin.

Shimmer Sparkle underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request – no apparent injury was reported.
