A pre-race sample was taken from Coalville Flyer.
Midnight Switch was quick to begin. Coalville Flyer and Sushi Mumma collided soon after the start. Razzle Dazzle and Coalville Flyer collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Renegade Ruslie and Ocean Beast collided on the first turn. Lady Jayde and Midnight Switch collided entering the home straight.
Sushi Mumma underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Jeanette Imlach, the trainer of Sushi Mumma regarding the greyhound’s performance in this event. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Sushi Mumma must perform a satisfactory trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
