Steward's Report
All persons attending today checked-in, wore face-masks indoors and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Track curator Mr J. Loudon advised that the track was medium harrowed on Thursday 23rd December 2021.
A pre-race sample was taken from Downton Ivy.
Max Rogue and Max Comet were quick to begin.
Downton Ivy checked off Mick The Magpie on the first turn checking Downton Ivy and Winona Roselee. Max Rogue and Special Innings collided on the first turn severely checking Special Innings and Max Comet. Court Jester checked off Special Innings on the first turn. Max Comet checked off Court Jester on the first turn causing Max Comet to fall as a result.
Max Comet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor abrasions to the left foreleg, right foreleg and left hindleg. No stand down period was imposed.
Craig Treherne - Issued a warning for his negligence pursuant to GAR86(o) in that he presented Sheriff Demon to race wearing an incorrect rug.
