Steward's Report
Zipping Malibu and Love And Thunder were quick to begin. El Sueno was slow to begin.
Gutter Stomper and Zipping Malibu collided soon after the start. Callum's Capers and El Sueno collided approaching the first turn checking Callum's Capers. Callum's Capers raced wide on the home turn. Callum's Capers and Zipping Malibu raced wide in the home straight.
Zipping Malibu underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Paul Pace regarding the performance of Zipping Malibu. After hearing evidence from Mr. Pace, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action. Mr. Pace further advised Stewards that he believed the greyhound was outgraded in today's field and would be better suited to easier opposition.
