Belle Yaraki – Late scratching at 5.58pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left back muscle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to holding for a Sha Tin Gallops race.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Paul Pace regarding the performance of Zipping Malibu.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Pace, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action. Mr. Pace further advised Stewards that he believed the greyhound was outgraded in today's field and would be better suited to easier opposition.
