All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Flying Mercedes and Cawbourne Marto collided soon after the start checking Flying Mercedes. Dan's Butler and Big Boy Duke collided soon after the start. Flying Mercedes and Dan's Butler collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn. Cawbourne Marto and Big Boy Duke collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Flying Mercedes and Dan's Butler collided approaching the home turn and collided several times in the home straight.

Oriental Onyx and Elite Patty were very slow to begin (3L). Limburg Bell and Oriental Onyx collided approaching the first turn checking Limburg Bell. Always Chase, Devil's Water and Unleaded Diesel collided on the first turn checking Devil's Water and severely checking Always Chase. Devil's Water and Oriental Onyx collided approaching the home turn checking Oriental Onyx. Devil's Water and Oriental Onyx collided on the home turn.

Bonnie's Beast was slow to begin. Patty Pie, All Inn Velvet and Radiant Betty collided soon after the start. Our Rascal, King Kenny and Highlighted collided on the first turn checking Our Rascal and King Kenny. All Inn Velvet, Radiant Betty and Bonnie's Beast collided approaching the home turn checking Bonnie's Beast and severely checking All Inn Velvet and Radiant Betty. Our Rascal, King Kenny and Maximum Sophie collided approaching the home turn. Patty Pie tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Patty Pie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 minute to allow staff to remove wildlife from the track.

Tuscan Style was slow to begin. Stylish Ken and Villanova collided soon after the start checking Stylish Ken. Patricia's Damien and Tuscan Style collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking Patricia's Damien. Villanova and Mrs. Tropicana collided on the home turn. Chloe's China and Clase Azul collided in the home straight. Chloe's China and Patricia's Damien collided several times approaching the winning post checking Chloe's China.

Benky Sid was slow to begin. Sparkle Debacle and All Inn Maggie collided approaching the first turn checking Sparkle Debacle. Vortex, All Inn Maggie and Beretta Girl collided on the first turn checking All Inn Maggie. Vortex and Crazy Old Fool collided approaching the home turn checking Crazy Old Fool. Vortex and Benky Sid collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Annihilate.

All Inn Cash was slow to begin. Crackerjack Pa and Rare Sapphire collided soon after the start. Annihilate checked off Princess Vegas soon after the start. Affair Fantasy and Bonnie Too Good collided approaching the first turn checking Bonnie Too Good. Crackerjack Pa and Bonnie Too Good coillided approaching the home turn checking All Inn Cash and severely checking Crackerjack Pa and Rumbling Black, causing Crackerjack Pa and Rumbling Black to race wide.

Miss Tickle  – Late scratching at 11:13am due to non–arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Mark Giddings informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track.  Stewards advised Mr Giddings that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Oh Mary was quick to begin. Denis The Menace was slow to begin. Weblec Cruiser, Oh Mary, Where's The Bees, Big Cohuna and Commission collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Weblec Cruiser, Big Cohuna and Denis The Menace and severely checking Oh Mary and Where's The Bees. Big Cohuna and Denis The Menace collided in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lunaray.

Proven Blazer was quick to begin. Fairytale Bliss checked off Lunaray soon after the start. Ashby Swift and Proven Blazer collided on the first turn. Fairytale Bliss and All Inn Mia collided on the first turn.

Lektra Nat – Late scratching on 26 January at 4:33pm when Ms C.Jackson reported the greyhound to have a foot injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kraken Stan was slow to begin. Hasten Jet, Shania's Dream and Summer Scorcher collided approaching the first turn checking Hasten Jet, Kraken Stan, Shania's Dream and Summer Scorcher and severely checking Tat Yummy.

A post-race sample was taken from Kraken Latte - winner of the event.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade, Mr R.Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Sudoku Cobra – New declared weight of 33.1kg, last raced at 31.4kg.

Mepunga Grace checked off Fernandes on the first turn and collided with Sudoku Cobra severely checking both greyhounds. Speedy Bella and Fernandes collided approaching the home turn.

Zipping Valerie was quick to begin. Ziem's Park Girl and Bold Linda collided soon after the start and approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ziem's Park Girl and Return Serve crossed to the inside in the home straight checking Zipping Valerie.

Zipping Valerie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor spike wound and an abrasion to the front left paw. No stand down period was imposed.
