A pre-race sample was taken from Sassenach.
McIvor Stretch was quick to begin. Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.
Meatball Soup and Mayfair Fantasy collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Sensational and Dark Krystal collided on the first turn. Sassenach and Meatball Soup collided approaching the home turn checking Sassenach. Meatball Soup and Reiko Bingle collided on the home turn.
Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' to ascertain if the distance between the leading greyhound and lure was at the correct distance. After reviewing all available footage and Stewards own observations, Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected and the 'All Clear' was given.
Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver and referred this matter to the appropriate manager.
