All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.9 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.6 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.

Inky's Fireball and Cool Whip collided approaching the home turn checking Inky's Fireball. Cool Whip checked off Marrying approaching the home turn.

McIvor Jimmy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards delayed the 'All Clear' to ascertain if the distance between the leading greyhound and lure was at the correct distance. After reviewing all available footage and Stewards own observations, Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected and the 'All Clear' was given. 

Stewards spoke to the Lure Driver and referred this matter to the appropriate manager.

Neymar Junior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right achilles tendon area and a left thigh injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
