Piopio - underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported, Mr Giddings declined to have the greyhound revetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Giddings regarding the greyhounds performance approaching the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Piopio must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
