Elswky Rocky underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.
Coco's Hot was slow to begin.
Junket Jarrod and Cloncurry Girl collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Coco's Hot and Elswky Rocky collided on the first turn. Mia's Hand crossed in on the first turn checking Mt. View Dodger, One Thrill and Coco's Hot. Coco's Hot crossed out and visibly eased approaching the home turn severely checking Elswky Rocky. Coco's Hot checked off Elswyk Rocky on the home turn.
Junket Jarrod underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Coco's Hot underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Mrs Yvonne Andrews declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Andrews, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Coco's Hot was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs. Andrews pleaded guilty to the charge, Coco's Hot was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69A(2) and pursuant to GAR 72 , before any future nomination will be accepted.
