Reiko Oreo and Touch Of Mint were slow to begin. Big Flatty was very slow to begin (3L).
Wonder Lomar and McIvor Jack collided approaching the first turn checking McIvor Jack which collided with Reiko Oreo, severely checking Reiko Oreo. Reiko Oreo and Big Flatty collided on the first turn severely checking Reiko Oreo and causing Big Flatty to fall. Amron Man and Wonder Lomar collided approaching the home turn. Amron Man, Wonder Lomar and Princess Vegas collided entering the home straight checking all three greyhounds. Touch Of Mint checked off Amron Man in the home straight.
