Miss Bazaar was very slow to begin (3L). Lowana Girl was slow to begin and lost ground soon after the start. Altercate was slow to begin. Atlas Alibi and My Name's Chelle collided approaching the first turn. Gunther and Queen Of Stripes collided on the first turn. My Name's Chelle crossed to the outside on the home turn and marred Atlas Alibi checking Atlas Alibi. My Name's Chelle and Atlas Alibi raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight. Miss Bazaar crossed to the outside and raced wide in the home straight. Atlas Alibi and My Name's Chelle collided in the home straight.

Lowana Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

My Name's Chelle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Maxwell Auld, the trainer of My Name's Chelle regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) My Name's Chelle was charged with marring.  Mr. Auld pleaded guilty to the charge, My Name's Chelle was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
