Norma Jae and Emmett's Regret collided soon after the start. Son Of Vegas turned it's head outwards soon after the start and collided with Elli's My Girl. Milo Rose and Magic Dust Bomb collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Magic Dust Bomb. Magic Dust Bomb faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Emmett's Regret, Son Of Vegas and Elli's My Girl collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

Magic Dust Bomb underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left hamstrings and right triangle and wrist. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Son Of Vegas underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest muscle injury and was suffering thumps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms. Brenda Kinder regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Son Of Vegas was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Kinder pleaded guilty to the charge, Son Of Vegas was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hillbilly Pearl and Buckle Up collied soon after the start checking Hillbilly Pearl. Klous and Yallock Lass collided approaching the first turn checking Yallock Lass which collided with Buckle Up, checking Hillbilly Pearl, Buckle Up and Our Boy Ziggy. Yallock Lass and Buckle Up collided in the home straight.

Big Boy Duke was slow to begin.

Half Job, Pennywise and Shadows Fall collided soon after the start checking Half Job and Shadows Fall. Half Job, Pennywise and Mumma's Meatball collided on the first turn checking Shadows Fall and Mumma's Meatball and severely checking Champ Duran and Big Boy Duke. Half Job raced wide in the home straight.

Mumma's Meatball underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have split webbing to the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Deed Of Shianne, Spanish Gold and Frosty Jack were slow to begin.

Lord Maxie and Short Fine Leg collided on the first turn checking Short Fine Leg and severely checking Aston Scepter and Evan's Almighty causing both greyhounds to fall as a result. Lord Maxie and Short Fine Leg collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Aston Scepter underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Evan's Almighty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right chest muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Slippery Swan- winner of the event.

Lil Miss Shooter was slow to begin.

Zipping Abilene and Gotham Baroness collided soon after the start. Another Mick and Thumping collided soon after the start checking Another Mick. Thumping checked off Gotham Baroness approaching the first turn. Another Mick checked off Thumping approaching the first turn checking Lil Miss Shooter. Pot Luck Chuck and Zipping Abilene collided on the first turn checking Pot Luck Chuck, Tumping and Zipping Abilene and severely checking Another Mick. Wrangler Jane and Gotham Baroness collided approaching the home turn checking Gotham Baroness.

Zipping Abilene underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a tail injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Huntly Flyer, Kraken Scar, Splits To Burn and Shania's Dream collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Bold Linda and No Marjen collided approaching the home turn. Kraken Scar and Splits To Burn collided approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Amazonian Queen.

Millie Marlaine and Moo Star collided soon after the start. Emma's Image and Kraken Count collided approaching the first turn. Rev Up Freddy, Millie Marlaine and Moo Star collided approaching the first turn checking Millie Marlaine and Moo Star. Millie Marlaine and Moo Star collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Amazonian Queen and Kraken Pearler collided in the home straight checking Amazonian Queen.

Footy Trip Fund, Zoe Zoomer and Go Undertaker collided soon after the start checking Zoe Zoomer. Aston Hartlett and Footy Trip Fund collided on the first turn checking Footy Trip Fund. Mischief Lass, Go Undertaker and Hillbilly Joker collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds. Zoe Zoomer and Hillbilly Joker collided entering the home straight.

Go Undertaker underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen.  Go Undertaker was reported to have a left biceps injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Aston Shericka, a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

Ellie Bliss, Loch Terrace went up with the lids at box rise and were slow to begin.

Ellie Bliss, Loch Terrace and Hillbilly Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking Ellie Bliss and Loch Terrace. Skull checked off Global Gossip on the first turn. Aston Sherika, Gotham Diva and Haunted Eyes collided on the first turn. Ellie Bliss checked off Hillbilly Blaze approaching the home turn. Haunted Eyes and Skull collided on the home turn checking Skull, severely checking Haunted Eyes.

Surf To Burn and Hillbilly Jane collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Red Fog and Holly Fever collided on the first turn checking Holly Fever. Fritter and Devil's Water collided on the first turn checking Fritter.

Affair Fantasy– Late scratching at 11:29 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to illness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Aston Grange was quick to begin. Rare Sapphire was slow to begin.

Patricia's Dream and Indecisive Dusty collided soon after the start. Hannah's Tiger and Indecisive Dusty collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Indecisive Dusty galloped on the heels of Rare Sapphire approaching the home turn checking Rare Sapphire. Hannah's Tiger and Indecisive Dusty collided on the home turn checking Indecisive Dusty and Rare Sapphire.

Meeting Comments:

Soda Titan underwent a veterinary examination at the close of kennelling after the greyhound failed to be presented at the Meadows on 13/10/21. An injury to the left groin was found. A seven day stand down was imposed.
