Steward's Report

Madlenka was quick to begin. Moo Star and King Brown were slow to begin. 

Fascinate Candy checked off Sloane The Crew approaching the first turn. Sloane The Crew and Jerry Buzzard collided on the first turn checking Jerry Buzzard in turn checking Moo Star. King Brown and Minnie Banjo collided on the home turn. Moo Star raced wide on the home turn. Sloane The Crew and Jerry Buzzard collided in the home straight. Minnie Banjo and Madlenka collided several times in the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Minnie Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Renee Kenyon, Representative regarding the racing manners of Minnie Banjo approaching the winning post. After hearing evidence from Ms. Kenyon, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

King Brown underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the Trainer's request and was found to a torn nail on the left hind leg and a spike wound on the left hind leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
