Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Chasing The Edge galloped on Ombra approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. 

Ombra underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a broken nail to the Right hind paw. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Chasing Summer and Glenore Lass were quick to begin.

Miss Molly May went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Mystic Muse and Glenore Lass collided on the home turn checking Glenore Lass.

Come On Aileen and Chasing Love collided soon after the start checking Come On Aileen. Wishly Bale checked off Fab Motto on the first turn.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Maddingly Magic with Mr. John Mangion and noted their comments.

Maddingly Magic was quick to begin. Brizo checked off Trendy Touchdown on the home turn and colided with Trending River. Brizo and Trending River collided entering the home straight checking Brizo.

Resurrection and Sugar Spice collided on the first turn checking Sugar Spice. Resurrection and Flaming Moses collided on the home turn. Alpine Blaze checked off Sugar Spice in the home straight.

Rusty Nail – Late scratching at 17:40 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to split webbing to the left rear paw..  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Double Up was slow to begin.

Rhymes Valley and Ultimate Mayhem collided soon after the start checking Rhymes Valley. King Brown, Double Up and Jono's Express collided on the first turn checking Double Up and Jono's Express. Double Up and Jono's Express collided approaching the home turn checking Jono's Express. King Brown and Rhymes Valley collided in the home straight.

King Brown underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Darrell Leathan regarding the racing manners of King Brown in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Leathan, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

She's Something and Loch collided several times on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Aston Scepter, Eadie and Sagarmatha collided on the first turn checking Eadie and Sagarmatha. Eadie and Kid Tullamore collided on the home turn checking Eadie. Eadie and Sagarmatha collided several times approaching the winning post.

Gold Luminesce went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.

Aston Paquin, Nitro Roxy, Gypsy Andy and Cherokee Cat collided on the first turn checking Aston Paquin and Gypsy Andy. Daph's Wally and Drakensberg Dot collided on the first turn checking Drakensberg Dot.

Just The Marjen clipped the heels of Especial Echo approaching the first turn. Pete Cabang and Rogue Temptation collided approaching the first turn checking Pete Cabang. McIvor Ernie raced wide in the home straight.

Pirate Lee and Rock Opera collided on the first turn checking Pirate Lee. Aston Cinnamon checked off Pirate Lee on the first turn. Strategic and Across The Sky collided approaching the home turn. Rock Opera visibly eased approaching the home turn. Pirate Lee and Rock Opera collided on the home turn. checking Pirate Lee. Aston Cinnamon and Across The Sky collided on the home turn. Strategic raced wide in the home straight. Rock Opera visibly eased approaching the winning post and collided with Ride On and fell after passing the winning post.

Rock Opera underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Thomas Boehmke, the trainer of Rock Opera regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Rock Opera was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Boehmke pleaded guilty to the charge, Rock Opera was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
