Invictus Xavier was slow to begin.

Zulu Goddess, Invictus Xavier and Magic Da Vinci collided soon after the start. Classy Edition and Mt. View Pearl collided on the first turn. Zulu Goddess and Invictus Xavier collided on the first turn. Zulu Goddess marred Classy Editon entering the home straight, causing Clasy Edition, Mt. View Pearl and Zulu Goddess to collide. Zulu Goddess marred Classy Edition in the home straight. 

Zulu Goddess underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr Frederick Bickerton, the trainer of Zulu Goddess regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Zulu Goddess was charged with marring. Mr Bickerton pleaded guilty to the charge, Zulu Goddess was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

My Annabelle and Burgin Beauty were quick to begin. 

Magic Luke and Mt. View Gem collided on the first turn. Magic Luke galloped on Mt. View Gem approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Mt. View Moon and Burgin Beauty collided on the home turn. My Annabelle and Burgin Beauty collided approaching the winning post.

Very Odd underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hind metatarsal.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Starlight Dusty checked off Shrek's Thunder on the first turn checking Shrek's Thunder, severely checking Starlight Dusty, Zipping Margo and Supercomputer. Starlight Dusty and Big City Nights collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Shrek's Thunder and Wilson's Way collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Shrek's Thunder. Big City Nights checked off Supercomputer entering the back straight and raced wide, checking Supercomputer. Starlight Dusty and Shrek's Thunder collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Zipping Margo and Supercomputer collided on the third turn. Mikado Gal checked off Starlight Dusty on the home turn severely checking Supercomputer and Big City Nights.

Why Not Lilah underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Bruree Fairy turned its head to the inside in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Bruree Fairy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left shin soreness.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr Edmund Dollery, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Bruree Fairy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Dollery pleaded guilty to the charge, Bruree Fairy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Good Boy Colombo and About Chelsea collided soon after the start. Tigers On Fire crossed to the outside soon after the start. Good Boy Colombo, Zipping Finch and Crystal Edition collided on the first turn checking Good Boy Colombo and severely checking Zipping Finch and Crystal Edition. Lily Rose Harper and About Chelsea collided approaching the home turn checking About Chelsea. Tiger On Fire checked off Good Boy Colombo approaching the home turn. Crystal Edition checked off Zipping Finch on the home turn.

Little Blazer and Avery Charm collided in the home straight.
