Call Me Jade, Kirby's Delight, Sonic Rainboom and Hurricane Ridge collided on the first turn checking Sonic Rainboom, Keep A Bit and Benando Junior. Call Me Jade, Kirby's Delight and Hurricane Ridge collided on the first turn checking Kirby's Delight and Hurricane Ridge. Hurricane Ridge checked off Keep A Bit on the home turn checking Keep A Bit, Hurricane Ridge and Benando Junior. Kirby's Delight raced wide on the home turn. Amron Man turned it's head outwards and shifted up the track on the home turn and collided several times with Call Me Jade checking both greyhounds. Amron Man and Hurricane Ridge collided entering the home straight.

Amron Man underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle strain and an abrasion to right fore limb and left hind limb. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Marcus Abey regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Amron Man was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Abey pleaded guilty to the charge, Amron Man was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
