All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Handler Mr. M. Auld lost control of Soda Fizz whilst parading. The Stewards were satisfied that the incident was insufficient in nature to abort the parading process and continued on. Mr. Auld was fined $100 under GAR 27 for failing to have sufficient and effective control of the greyhound whilst parading.

Little Winnie was quick to begin.

Flying Miss and Got One Fernando collided on the first turn checking Got One Fernando. Soda Fizz and Retro Rocket collided in the back straight. Flying Miss checked off Soda Fizz on the second turn and collided with Aston Elliot and Itchy Kaala. Little Winnie and Soda Fizz collided on the second turn, approaching the home turn and several times on the home turn. Aston Elliot checked off Itchy Kaala approaching the home turn.

Mustang Charlie, My Golden Eagle and All Inn Chester collided soon after the start checking My Golden Eagle. Run Machine and Aston Pride collided on the first turn checking Aston Pride. Mustang Charlie and All inn Chester collided on the first turn checking All Inn Chester. Aston Pride and Great Question collided on the home turn. Great Question turned its head inwards and collided with Run Machine approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Great Question underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and a right quadriceps injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms Mim Gilders regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Great Question was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Gilders pleaded not guilty to the charge, Great Question was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Astro Boy – Late scratching at 13:05pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right shoulder injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Strict Liability and No Payer collided on the first turn checking Strict Liability. Roxy Rum Pumper galloped on the heels of No Payer on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Strict Liability and Mr. Football collided on the home turn. Mr. Football raced wide in the home straight.

Paddy's Marvel crossed to the rails soon after the start severely checking College Degree. All Over Max and Flash Angel collided approaching the first turn. Aston Mireya and Paddy's Marvel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. All Over Max and Flash Angel collided on the first turn. Aston Mireya and Paddy's Marvel collided approaching the home turn checking Paddy's Marvel. All Over Max and Rack City collided on the home turn.

Shim Bob, Lara Diamond, Quick Income and Prince Cody collided on the first turn checking Shim Bob, Lara Diamond and Quick Income. East Street, Lala Juniper and Speedy Jack collided on the second turn checking East Street and Lala Juniper. Shim Bob checked off Quick Income approaching the home turn. Lady Fernando checked off Aston Tribute approaching the home turn.

Swarm was slow to begin.

Double Tactic, Crackerjack Phil, Cornhill Rebel, Lala Grapefruit and Pirate Lee collided on the first turn checking Double Tactic, Cornhill Rebel and Pirate Lee, severely checking Lala Grapefruit. Swarm crossed to the outside on the home turn and collided with Double Tactic. Double Tactic raced wide on the home turn.

She's Something was slow to begin.
