The start time for this event was amended from 12:52pm to 2:27pm.
Irongate fell soon after the start and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Filorga Bale collided with Spanish Bullion on the home turn and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and right flexor tendon. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr N. Bischard regarding the racing manners of Filorga Bale on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr Bischard, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
