Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Stewards extended the closure of kennelling to 6:37pm to allow Trainer, Mr. D. McKenzie, to arrive on-course after he communicated to Stewards that he incurred a traffic delay due to an accident on the Westgate Freeway.
Blue Cans and Miss You Emma were quick to begin.
Hunter Grange was slow to begin.
Together We Can which was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury. A seven day stand down period was imposed.
