Steward's Report
All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Elite Tommy, Golden Go and Stump Rump collided soon after the start checking Golden Go and Stump Rump. Golden Go and Stump Rump collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mangrove and Mogambo Magic collided on the first turn. Stump Rump, Mangrove and Mogambo Magic collided approaching the home turn checking Stump Rump and Mogamboo Magic. Stump Rump and Mogambo Magic collided several times in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds. Golden Go and Greysynd Hero collided in the home straight.
Stump Rump underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a toe injury on the right fore leg and a spike wound on the left hind leg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
