All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Lady Jayde was quick to begin.  Ethan’s Thunder was slow to begin.  Ron’s Hope was checked off Lady Jayde approaching the first turn.  Ethan’s Thunder was checked off Lady Jayde on the first turn.

Classy Kayla and Dr. Jax were slow to begin.  Dr. Audrey, Sweet Life and Panel Damage collided on the first turn checking Panel Damage.  Classy Kayla and Dr. Jax collided approaching the home turn. Sweet Life and Dr. Audrey collided approaching the winning post.

Panel Damage underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Amended on 3 March 2022: Brandeen Jerry – Late scratching at 4:57pm due to illness (GAR 37).  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Noble Stone was slow to begin.  Average Axel and Noble Stone collided approaching the first turn. Average Axel and Honey Double One collided on the first turn.

A post race sample was taken from Dr. Valentin - winner of the event.

Stewards conducted a check of the catcher‘s licences in accordance with LRR 16.2 and all were compliant.

Love A Collision was slow to begin.  Love A Collision and Still In Love collided approaching the first turn.  How’s It Alice and Stanley Boy collided on the first turn.  Love A Collision raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Valencia Bale was quick to begin.  Peacock was slow to begin.  Winry Bale and Just A Minute collided soon after the start.  Just A Minute and Amlin Fidget collided approaching the first turn checking Just A Minute.  Winry Bale and Magic Mist collided on the first turn.

Autumn Haze – Late scratching at 15:16 when Ms Bethany Garrick reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Kraken Rover was slow to begin.  Security Man and Extreme Harriet collided on the first turn. Baggy’s Gold and Kraken Rover collided on the first turn.

The Stewards spoke to Mr Brett Mackie, the trainer of My Faith in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race.

Mystify Kick and Paua Of Janie collided approaching the first turn.  Wigram Road and Zipping Wreck collided on the first turn.  Mystify Kick and Zipping Wreck collided entering the home straight.  Nathan Ryder raced wide in the home straight.

Leg Burner was quick to begin.  Establishment was slow to begin.  Ice Cool Kimmi and Our Flash collided on the first turn checking Ice Cool Kimmi.  Chanel Miss was checked off Ice Cool Kimmi entering the home straight.

Invictus Benson was slow to begin.  Bigsy and Spring Bjorn collided soon after the start.

Dale From Sale, Dundee Reactor and Ripplebrook Glen were slow to begin.  Zachary, Miss Tickle and Hurricane Diva collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Tickle.  Rag Time Rove was checked off Hurricane Diva approaching the first turn checking Dundee Reactor and Dale From Sale. Hurricane Diva, Zachary and My Gem collided on the first turn checking Hurricane Diva.  Miss Tickle and Ripplebrook Glen collided approaching the home turn. My Gem raced wide approaching the winning post.

Kazoo Giblet, Joe’s Entity and Galloping Albi were quick to begin.  Still Chasing and Kazoo Giblet collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Still Chasing and Galloping Albi collided on the first turn checking Still Chasing.  Galloping Albi was checked off Slim Shadow on the first turn.
