Flatty Hunter was slow to begin.Inga Charlie checked off Keep It Sassy approaching the first turn. Inga Lenny and Inga Leah collided on the first turn checking Keep It Sassy. Inga Lenny and Inga Leah collided approaching the home turn. Inga Charlie and Saint Prue collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Vans Turbo went up with the lids at box rise. Larkin Bale and Vans Turbo collided on the first turn. Vans Turbo checked off Larkin Bale approaching the home turn.

Blaze Of Fire, Aston Khan, Deb's Wish, Northern Era and My Boy Charlott collided soon after the start checking Deb's Wish and Northern Era. Aston Khan and My Boy Charlott collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Aston Khan and Blaze Of Fire collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Zipping Demi – Late scratching at 5.19pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Western Blazer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Our Frankie and Destroy We Said collided soon after the start. Aston Kayee and Send It Socks collided soon after the start checking Aston Kayee. Fab Nine, Send It Socks and Picogram collided approaching the first turn checking Send It Socks. Fab Nine and Our Frankie collided approaching the home turn. Ambitious underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
