Steward's Report
Rogue Temptation – Late scratching at 1.44 PM due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms. L. Farquhar was fined $100.
The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Crackerjack Lach with Mr Paul Hammerstein and noted their comments.
Lips Boloney was slow to begin.
Lara Diamond and Crackerjack Lach collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Crackerjack Lach. Aston Heidi faltered and lost ground approaching the home turn, Aston Heidi tailed off as a result.
Aston Heidi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Details-
Trainer Ms Kerry Prowse was fined $100 for failing to ensure the registration cards were produced for her greyhounds who were entered for today's race meeting, pursuant to GAR 33.
The Stewards were advised that the track was medium harrowed on the 16th February.
