All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 18.3 degrees and the kennel temperature was 16.5 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Aston Texan was quick to begin.

Locky was slow to begin.

Hot Wash checked off Marley Griff soon after the start. Locky checked off Hot Wash soon after the start. Marley Griff checked off Aston Texas approaching the first turn. Marley Griff checked off Honest Thief on the first turn severely checking Locky and Hot Wash causing both to lose ground. Aston Texas raced wide in the home straight.

Halloumi was quick to begin.

Bushman's Prayer stumble at box rise and was slow to begin.

All Inn Velvet and Always Chase collided soon after the start.  Radiant Betty checked off Affair Beauty soon after the start.  Pumpkin Pete checked off Elite Patty on the first turn.  Pumpkin Pete crossed to the outside in the home straight and collided with Elite Patty.  Halloumi checked off Affair Beauty entering the home straight.

Pumpkin Pete underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness in the right foreleg and left hindleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. William Robertson regarding the racing manners of Pumpkin Pete in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Robertson, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Mountain Stew was quick to begin.  All Fear was slow to begin.

Lily Jane checked off Inga Harry soon after the start.  Lily Jane checked off Ellie Bliss approaching the first turn.  Chuck Attack checked off Mountain Stew on the first turn checking Inga Harry. Inga Harry and Ellie Bliss collided on the home turn.  All Fear checked off Chuck Attack entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Ertugrul Bey.

King Chad was quick to begin.  All Inn Scooby was slow to begin.

Iron Hand, Bear Lee Time and Hasten Jet collided approaching the first turn checking Hasten Jet, Alinta's Gift and Boom Buster.  Ertugrul Bey checked off King Chad on the first turn checking All Inn Scooby. Ertugrul Bey and All Inn Scooby collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

All Inn Cash was slow to begin.

Black Beaver checked off Bear Lee Bandit approaching the first turn.  Rampage Ralston checked off Easy Breezy on the first turn.  Black Beaver checked off Deputy Sam on the first turn.

King Of All was quick to begin.

My Golden Eagle and Emergency were slow to begin. My Golden Eagle, Mouthy Boof, Emergency and Sensational collided approaching the first turn checking Mouthy Boof, Sensational and My Golden Eagle.  My Golden Eagle contacted the running rail on the first turn.

My Golden Eagle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

 Wisdom – New declared weight of 27.2 kg, last raced at 25.9 kg.

Wisdom was quick to begin.

Udeyan Bale checked off Feisty Nikita approaching the first turn.  Udeyan Bale, Edgy Jack and Loud And Rowdy collided on the first turn severely checking Jayville Tahlia and Loud And Rowdy. 

A post-race sample was taken from Feisty Nikita - winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Fairytale Bliss.

Silky Riot, Lunaray and Fairytale Bliss collided soon after the start checking Fairytale Bliss which severely checked Lunaray which lost ground as a result.  Paper Plane, Pretty Mouse and Across The Sky collided on the first turn checking Paper Plane and Pretty Mouse.  Pretty Mouse checked off Across The Sky on the home turn. Silky Riot and Across The Sky collided several times in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Spanish Bullion.

Meatball Soup and Kraken Latte checked off the heels of Fab Six approaching the first turn severely checking Kraken Latte and Meatball Soup which lost ground as a result.  Parasite and Vortex collided entering the home straight.

Meatball Soup underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Electric Head checked off Ishmy Lady approaching the first turn. Invictus Stella checkjed off Kaiden on the first turn checking American Star and Ishmy Lady.
