All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing, starting, and catching greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Roll The Bones.

Miss Button was quick to begin.

Chasing Teddy and Roll The Bones collided soon after the start.  Recinder Jack crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cosmetic Rose, She's The One, Roll The Bones and Chasing Teddy.  Chasing Chops crossed out at the 250m mark checking Recinder Jack.  Big John Mac raced wide throughout the event.

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, B. Van De Maat, did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.

Star To Burn was slow to begin.

Star To Burn and Further Dreamer collided soon after the start.  Sonic Sensation, Super Nat, Society Icon and How's It Alice collided soon after the start.  Star To Burn, Further Dreamer, Tigers Nineteen, Sonic Sensation and Super Nat collided at the 250m mark checking Further Dreamer.  Star To Burn and Tigers Nineteen collided approaching the 200m mark.  Tigers Nineteen and Super Nat collided several times from approaching the 150m mark to approaching the winning post.  Star To Burn and Sonic Sensation collided at the 150m mark checking Star To Burn.  

Society Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mr James Van de Maat regarding the racing manners of Society Icon approaching the winning post.  After hearing evidence from Mr Van de Maat, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zippy Customer.

Zippy Customer, Chasing The Edge and Brother Guy were slow to begin.

Zippy Customer crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Chasing The Edge.  Unique Faith crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Flying Torpedo.  Into The River crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Abscess and Unique Faith collided approaching the 200m mark.  Flying Torpedo, Into The River, Tidy Up Girl and Brother Guy collided at the 200m mark checking Tidy Up Girl, severely checking Flying Torpedo, Into The River and Brother Guy.  Chasing The Edge and Unique Faith collided at the 150m mark checking Unique Faith, severely checking Chasing The Edge.  Abscess and Tidy Up Girl collided several times from approaching the 100m mark to the 100m mark.

Abscess - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Brother Guy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Blazin' Zen was slow to begin.

Potato Sunrise and Inter Vince collided soon after the start.  Inter Vince checked off He's A Geezer at the 225m mark.  He's A Geezer, Ms. Lucky Leaves and Line Stepper collided at the 150m mark.  Ms. Lucky Leaves and Line Stepper collided at the 100m mark.  He's A Geezer and Line Stepper collided approaching the winning post.

Potato Sunrise underwent a post-race veterinary examination (frequency of racing) and was found to have neck pain and a spike wound to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Structure was slow to begin.

Baby Pechey and Fab Six collided at the 250m mark.

A post-race sample was taken from Jebrynah Octave - the winner of the event. 

Also Arandt was slow to begin.

Blackjack Cougar and Our Girl Bailee collided at the 300m mark.  She's Something and Divine Dixie collided at the 200m mark.  Also Arandt and Blackjack Cougar collided approaching the winning post.

Maximum Capers and Flash Spolly were slow to begin.

Melanistic and Burnish collided at the 150m mark.  Melanistic, Addy Belle and Burnish collided at the 75m mark checking Addy Belle which faltered and lost ground.  

Addy Belle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Spring Roll - the winner of the event.

An out of competition sample was taken from Invictus Murray on 27/5/2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Due to a significant delay in boxing Aston Kenji, Stewards ordered all greyhounds be removed from the starting boxes and undergo a veterinary examination by the on-track Veterinarian. All greyhounds were passed fit to race.  Subsequently, this event was delayed by approximately 6 minutes.

Midnight Drifter was slow to begin.

Aston Kenji and Invictus Murray collided at the 275m mark.  Showboat Capers and Aston Kenji collided at the 250m mark.  Showboat Capers and Tiny Shiny collided at the 225m mark.  

Aston Kenji - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

The start of this event was rescheduled to 1:27pm, as a result of the delay in Race 8.

Sonic Lauryn and Always Cousins were slow to begin.

Always Cousins crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Tay Tay Swifty and Bold Voyager collided at the 200m mark and again at the 100m mark.  Tay Tay Swifty, Bold Voyager and Call Me Jade collided at the 50m mark.  Tay Tay Swifty and Bold Voyager collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to the Starter and Steward present at the starting boxes and reminded them of their responsibilities after the greyhound, Always Cousins was not boxed first as endorsed by the Stewards. 

Rev The Jockey stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Island Chief and Pat's Me Mum collided several times soon after the start.  Broken Boots crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Stunning One.

A post-race sample was taken from Ivy's Bobby - the winner of the event.

Lovin' The Sun and Zero Connection were slow to begin.

Another Attempt and Assume Kealy collided at the 100m mark.  Chasing Love and Assume Kealy collided approaching the winning post.  Another Attempt, Assume Kealy and Man Cave collided approaching the winning post.

A post-race sample was taken from Cyber Crime - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Heads Or Tails.

Heads Or Tails was slow to begin.

Mr. Daver and Jax Flash collided soon after the start.  Irwin Bale and Heads Or Tails collided at the 250m mark.  Mr. Daver, She's A Looker and Irwin Bale collided at the 150m mark.  Heads Or Tails and Irwin Bale collided approaching the 100m mark.
