Blazer Nation was quick to begin.

Fairytale Bliss and Abscess collided soon after the start.  Fairytale Bliss, Al's Brother and Abscess collided soon after the start checking Al's Brother.  Fairytale Bliss crossed out at the 300m mark.  Mechanics Kismet and Blazer Nation collided at the 125m mark.

Al's Brother underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and a right foreleg toe nail injury.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Flamin' Sam was slow to begin.

Electro Guru and Wish You Well were quick to begin.  Brother Guy was slow to begin.

Wiggle It Bart and Queen Charisma collided soon after the start   Wiggle It Bart and Queen Charisma collided several times from the 300m mark to the 250m mark checking Queen Charisma.  Brother Guy and Queen Charisma collided at the 225m mark.  Wiggle It Bart and Leaping Lydia collided at the 75m mark.

Baby Pechey was quick to begin.  Jimmy Maker was slow to begin.

Chasing Honey, My Dad Baz and Shazbot collided soon after the start checking My Dad Baz.  My Dad Baz and Jimmy Maker collided approaching the 300m mark checking Jimmy Maker.  Nova To Burn visibly eased and collided with Baby Pechey approaching the winning post.

Nova To Burn underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the right hind toe and the right front wrist.  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Hardy, the trainer of Nova To Burn regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Nova To Burn was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Hardy pleaded not guilty to the charge, Nova To Burn was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Potato Sunrise, Inter Vince and Buster's Choice were slow to begin.

Braemar Brianna and Sugar Boloney collided at the 225m mark checking Braemar Brianna.  Braemar Brianna and Buster's Choice collided at the 200m mark.  Potato Sunrise and Braemar Brianna collided at the 125m mark.  Braemar Brianna checked off Buster's Choice approaching the 50m mark.  Boes Bambino, Inter Vince, Sugar Boloney and Buster's Choice collided at the 50m mark checking Boes Bambino.

Melanistic was slow to begin.
